Land Warrant Survey of Johann George Schambach
This warrant survey show where Johann George Shambach, son of Adolph Schambach owned land in what is now Lehigh Co., PA. The warrants were dated 4/29/1740 and 2/28/1743 but the land wasn't surveyed until 4/10/1788 and apparently not patented by George but by Jacob Sicher whom George sold the land to. The 1788 Survey was for 235 acres, 92 perches in Upper Milford Township, Bucks County when it was warranted, Northampton County when it was patented and in Lehigh County today. The first picture show a return date of 3/12/1789 with Jacob Sicher, owner. The second picture is the actual warrant survey done in 1788.
